Julie Branham Reynolds

Julie Reynolds Branham, a beloved teacher and devoted mother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the age of 45, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, inspiration, and unwavering love. Julie was born in Ashland Kentucky on September 3rd, 1979 a daughter of the late Billy and Mary-Ann Parker Reynolds. She dedicated her life to nurturing young minds and raising a loving family. Julie’s career as a teacher at Elliott County Middle School spanned 16 years, during which she made a profound impact on countless students. Julie was a sponsor of Jr. Beta club where she helped instill leadership skills in students through service to others. She was known for patience, creativity, ability to connect with students, passion for science, and her classroom was a place where students felt encouraged to learn and grow. Beyond the classroom, Julie was a loving and supportive mother to Billy and Miles always prioritizing their well-being and happiness. She was a patient listener, a source of strength who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the community in Sandy Hook, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength. Julie enjoyed joking and laughing with her family and friends. However, her world revolved around her two boys, family, and friends. Including her parents she is proceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years; Jason Dale Branham, one brother; Jason Matthew Reynolds. Julie is survived by three sons; Billy Tyler Branham (Whitney), Miles David Branham, Macray Holbrook all of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, one brother; Joe (Andrea) Reynolds of Bloomington, Indiana; one sister, Evelyn (Chris) Hall of Muncie, Indiana, one brother in law; James Smith of North Vernon, Indiana, three nieces, Payton Reynolds, Piper Reynolds, Trinity Barker, mother and father in law Barbara and Kecil Smith, along with many extended family and friends whom will sadly mourn her passing. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Whitt & Sons Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be sister Lacy Frisby and sister Brittany Hollingworth. Burial will follow at the Branham Cemetery on Brown Ridge Road in Elliott County Kentucky. Friends may visit 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Whitt & Sons Funeral Chapel until the hour of service. Serving as pallbearers will be; Billy Branham, Miles Branham, Macray Holbrook, Kecil Smith, James Smith, David Frisby, Ben Frisby, Ritchie Lewis, P.J. Hollingsworth.
