Mr. Wayne Peters age 76 formerly of Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born January 4, 1937 in Sandy Hook, Kentucky a son of the late Doc and Bertie Faye Sparks Peters. Wayne was retired from General Motors. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by five brothers, Herman Peters, Murl Peters, Burl Peters, Eugene Peters and Manuel Peters; seven sisters, Floa Skaggs, Chloe Smith, Mary Smith, Viola Welch, Sarah Adkins, Carrie Adkins and Bertie Faye Sousa. He is survived by one sister, Geneva Andrews of Bellefontaine, Ohio; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Eulene and Billie Jean Peters of Grove City, Ohio, Gus and Joyce Peters of Cape Coral, Florida. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013 in the Chapel of Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook with Brother Louie Bear officiating. Burial will follow in the Whispering Pines Cemetery on Middle Fork in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Friends may visit from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. www.waddellandwhitt.com
