Shamel Clevenger

Shamel Clevenger age 62 of Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Shamel was born September 16, 1953 in Elliott County, Kentucky, a son of the late Logan and Bertha Stafford Clevenger. Mr. Clevenger was a mechanic and of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one sister: Robena Litton. He is survived by three sons: Rodney Clevenger and Scotty Clevenger of Morehead, Kentucky, Gregory Clevenger of Grayson, Kentucky, four sisters: Thelma Conn, Minnie Marx, Sue Cox all of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, Clara Trent, of Morehead, Kentucky, three grandchildren, and one very special and devoted friend: Tommy Keeton, of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, along with a host of family and friends that will sadly mourn his passing. Funeral arrangements will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016 in the Chapel of Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home with Brother Randy Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in the Stafford Cemetery in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Friends may visit after 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are: Carlos Cox, Jeffery Peterson, Jamie Trent, Ray Baldridge, Nick Marx, Eldon Conn.
