Sarah June Barker age 92 of Elliott County, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at her residence. Sarah was born May 24, 1924 in Elliott County, Ky a daughter of the late Melvin and Lula Gilliam Wright. Mrs. Barker was of the Christian Faith and belonged to the Middlefork Church of God and was a Homemaker who loved spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her spouse;Roe Barker; sons ;Gary Wright; Larry "Curley" Barker and infant son David Barker. She is survived by one son; Bobby Lee Barker of Olive Hill, Ky; One Daughter Janie Barker of Sandy Hook, Ky along with a host of family and friends that will sadly mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday August 13, 2016 at the Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Brothers Russell Moore and Jackie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Wright Cemetery on Middle Fork Road in Elliott County, Ky. Friends may visit after 6 p.m. Friday August, 12 and until the service hour Saturday at Waddell & Whitt Funeral home.
