Ruby Ann Moore Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ruby Ann Moore, age 64, of Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 at Community Hospice in Ashland, Kentucky. She was born July 16, 1949 in Morgan County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Arnold and Lorene Elliott Moore. Ruby was of the Baptist Faith. She was retired from the Elliott County Board of Education where she was a Teacher's Aide for several years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, spending time with her family and friends and above all else spending time with her grandson, Jared. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey Moore and Dale Moore; one sister, Betty Ruth Stephens. She is survived by one daughter, Lorie O'Neal of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; one son, Paul Jr. O'Neal of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; one brother, John Henry Moore of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; two sisters and brother-in-law, Etta Lou and Charlie Spears of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Betsy Stephens of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; one grandson, Jared Lewis. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2014 in the Chapel of Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, Kentucky with Brother Jason Ison and Brother Billy T. Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Elliott County Memory Gardens in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Friends may visit after 6 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday until the service hour at the funeral home. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
