Ronald Drake Adams

Ronald Drake Adams, age 34, of Elkfork, Kentucky passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at his residence. Mr. Adams was born June 12, 1989 in Dayton, Ohio a son of Linda Bethel Middleton (James) of Olive Hill, Kentucky and the late Bobby Ronald Adams. Drake was of the Apostolic faith. He was employed as an EMT with Elliott County and KDMT. He was passionate about being a firefighter, EMT, he orchestrated 2 honor guard units. He was devoted and hardworking, his is professionalism always shined through. In addition to his mother and stepfather he is survived by his stepmother; Cheryl Adams, his wife; Ruby Louise Adams whom he spent loving 12 years with, three sons; Christian Drake Adams, Joshua Alexander Adams, Samuel Whyatt Adams, one daughter; Mackenzie Grace Adams all at home, four step sisters; Taylor Middleton, Autumn Middleton, Megan Carter, Jessica Wilson, one step brother; Eric Snell, grandparents; Cleo and Bonnie Middleton, mother in-law; Jane Cade, along with of host of extended family, friends, and EMS family who will sadly mourn his passing. Drake loved his children and wife with his whole heart. He always went above and beyond to make sure everyone was okay. He was a great protector, provider, and looked up to be so many. Drake was one in a million, he enjoyed going out to eat, he was very outspoken but could steal your heart and be a prankster all in one. If you were having a bad day he had his ways that could brighten any face. Mr. Drake Adams will leave behind a void not only within his family but the entire community. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Laurel Gorge Enterprise Baptist Church with Elder Mike Fitch officiating. Burial will follow in the Binion Cemetery on Rt 1555 in Elliott Co. Friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Laurel Gorge Enterprise Baptist Church and after 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the service hour at the church. Full EMS honors will be presented. Serving as pallbearers are J.T Stevens, Sam Harbarger, Bill Reed, Robert White, James Middleton, and Darryl Harris. Serving as honorary are his children with William Bethel and Larry Moore. Whitt & Sons Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
