Opal Marie Ison Keaton Johnson age 87 of Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away Monday evening, January 10, 2011 in the Elliott County Nursing & Rehab Center in Sandy Hook. Mrs. Johnson was born December 27, 1923 in Elliott County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Isom T. and Fannie Barker Ison. Opal was retired from Clevland Bakers & Teamsters in Akron, Ohio with 25 years of service. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one son; William Keaton, one brother; John D. Ison, and two sisters; Sara Ison and Alma Edwards. She is survived by two sons and daughters inlaw; Alben & Sandra Keaton of Atwater, Ohio, Alvin & Patricia "Pat" Keaton of Akron, Ohio.Three daughters and sons inlaw; Elden & Gerald Lanik of Akron, Ohio, Lynn & Ronnie Salyers of Hilliard, Ohio, and Patricia & Conrad Upton of Copperas Cove, Texas. Three brothers; Jack Ison and Junior Ison of Sandy Hook, Kentucky and William Ison of Florida. Three sisters and brother inlaw; Mary Lewis and Lorain, Ohio, Hannah Porter and Jeanette and Bill Salyers all of Sandy Hook, Kentucky.Twenty-two grandchildren and forty-four great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. Along with a host of extended family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m Saturday, January 15, 2011 in the chapel of the Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook with the Family officiating. Burial will follow in the Isom T.
