Mary Belle Skaggs

Mary Belle Skaggs, age 76, of Isonville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 in West Liberty, Kentucky. She was born November 09, 1945 in Elliott County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Jackson and Elizabeth Eldridge Maxie. In addition to her parents she is proceded in death by her husband Alfred Estill Skaggs, two children; Ruthie Maxie, Kay Louise Skaggs, five brothers; William Maxie, Higgie Maxie, Kenderick Maxie, Ira Maxie, Virgil Maxie, and one sister; Easter Salyers. Mary Belle was a homemaker and of the Christian faith, she enjoyed many things but most of all spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by one son; David Ray Skaggs, four daughters; Easter Dulin "Lonnie", Donna Adair "Richard Fraley", Tabatha Skaggs "Terry Porter", Katherine Skaggs-Hurtt "Terry", fifteen grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren, along with a host of family and friends whom will sadly mourn her passing. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Whitt & Sons Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, Kentucky with Bro. Ray Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxie - Skaggs Cemetery in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Friends may visit Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at Whitt & Sons Chapel. Pallbearers will be Jason Brangard, Issac Newell, Timothy Maxie, Richard Fraley, Johnny Doolin, Charlie Porter.
