Mary Lou Ingram

Mary Lou Ingram, age 73, passed away Sunday December 16, 2018 at Fleming County Hospital after a brief illness. She spent the first 40 years of her life in Sandy Hook, KY where she was born and raised. Fleming County was her home from 1985 until her passing. Mrs. Ingram was born September 3, 1945 in Elliott County, KY to the late Walker and Clesta Lewis Moore. Mary Lou was a homemaker who enjoyed crafting and candy-making, among other talents. She was of the Baptist faith and attended the Middle Fork Church of God. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ingram is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Wayne Ingram; four brothers: Ellis J. Moore, LC Moore, Ralph Moore, and Elmer Moore; and three sisters: Dixie Riley, Blanche Adkins, and Elvie Lewis. Mrs. Ingram is survived by three sons: Rick Adkins (Sheila Campbell) of Wallingford, KY, Jack (Alicia) Adkins of Maysville, KY, and Justin (Tiffany) Ingram of Vanceburg, KY; two daughters: Lisa (Estill) Hall of Wallingford, KY, and Nicole Adkins also of Wallingford, KY; four brothers: Scott (Etta) Moore of Sandy Hook, KY, Joe (Laura) Moore of Beavercreek, OH, Glen (Jean) Moore of Flemingsburg, KY, and Bob (Pam) Moore of Sandy Hook, KY; one sister: Jewell (Chuck) Graham of Waynesboro, VA; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, along with two special sisters in law, Phyllis Black of Wallingford, KY and Juanita Hamm of Flemingsburg, KY and a host of special relatives and friends who will grieve her passing for months and years to come. Services for Mrs. Ingram will include visitation after 11:00 a.m. with funeral at 1:00 p.m. on Friday December 21, 2018 at the Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home with Reverend Jack Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Elliott County Memorial Gardens in Sandy Hook, KY. Serving as pallbearers will be Shawn Mitchell, Bryan Burke, Bob Moore, Joe Moore, Justin Ingram, and Rick Adkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Adkins, Jonathan Moore, Devin Moore, and Johnny Moore.
