Mable Ison Cassell

Mable Ison Cassell age 78 of Rt1 Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away Thursday evening February 10, 2011 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland,Kentucky. Mrs. Cassell was born October 15, 1932 in Elliott County, Kentucky a daughter of the late Flem and Cloma Lewis Ison. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Harlan Cassell; One daughter; Charlene Gillum; three sisters; Clotene Ison, Myrtle Ison, and Madgele Gallion. three brothers; Eugene Ison, Nelson Ison, and Warner Ison. She is survived by two sons and daughters in-law; Joe and Garnet Cassell of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Wayne and Lucy Cassell of Sandy Hook, Kentucky. One brother and sister in-law; Kimble and Ruby Ison of Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Eight grandchildren, Nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m Sunday February 13, 2011 in the chapel of the Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, Kentucky with Bro. Billy T. Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Ison Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m Saturday and after 9:00 a.m Sunday until the service hour. Ronald Cassell, Donald Cassell, Kenneth Warren, Jamie McDaniels, Mark Boggs, and Sam Peck will serve as pallbearers. Jim McDaniels, Ryan McDaniels, Chad Cassell, Michael Cassell, and DJ Banks will serve as honorary pallbearers.
