Lowell E. Hampton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Lowell E. Hampton age 75 of Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Morgan County ARH in West Liberty, Kentucky. He was born March 3, 1939 in Elliott County, Kentucky a son of the late Kerney and Eula Rice Hampton. Lowell was retired from General Motors and of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one infant brother, one infant sister and Lois Blowny. He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Lola Stafford Hampton of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; one daughter, Michelle Herron of Springfield, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Lane Herron and Chase Herron both of Springfield, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014 in the Chapel of Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home with Brother Herman Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in the Elliott County Memory Gardens in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Friends may visit from 5 pm to 9 pm Wednesday, July 30, 2014 and after 9 am on Thursday until the service hour at the funeral home.
