Josie Lee Stocks Dapice Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Josie Lee Stocks Dapice, age 75, of West Liberty, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009, at Ashland Community Hospice in Ashland, Kentucky. Mrs. Dapice was born July 2, 1934, in Cookeville, Tennesse a daughter of the late Luther and Willie Stocks. Josie was a homemaker, a devoted Christian for many years and attended the Crockett Community Primitive Baptist Church in Crockett, Kentucky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Helton. She is survived by her loving family; two sons, Michael Dapice and Johnny Dapice both of Dayton, Ohio. One daughter, Anna Gilliam of Crockett, Kentucky. Seven grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren. Three brothers; Buddy Stocks of Florida, Thurman Stocks and C.W. Stocks both of Dayton, Ohio. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and a host of friends who will sadly mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2009, in the chapel of the Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook with Brother Mike Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Fannin Cemetery at Crockett, Kentucky. Friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday and until the service hour Wednesday at the Waddell and Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, Kentucky.
