Joe Keaton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Joe Keaton age 70 of Hwy 32 Martha, Kentucky passed away Saturday afternoon August 29, 2009 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington W.Va. Mr. Keaton was born August 01, 1939 in Lawrence County, Kentucky a son of the late Autie and Rissie Vanover Keaton. Joe was a laborer and a born again Christian, he was the Assistant Pastor at Paint Valley Enterprise Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four infant brothers. He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years; Reda Gillum Keaton, two sons; Johnny Edward Keaton and Joe E. Keaton, one brother; Autie Keaton, Jr. and one sister; Joy Marie Wheeler, two very special grandchildren; Brittany Michelle Keaton and Scotty Walton Keaton all of Martha, Kentucky. He will be sadly missed by many extended family members and friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at the Elizabeth Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Keaton Family Cemetery at Coal Creek. Friends may call after 5: 00 p.m Monday at the Elizabeth Baptist Church and anytime until the service hour Tuesday at the church.
