Ivory Fern Brickey Fraley

October 13, 1935 - November 11, 2016

Ivory Fern Brickey Fraley age 81, of Isonville, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Friday, November 11, 2016 at her residence after an extended illness. Fern was born October 13, 1935 at Isonville to the late Clarence Verner Brickey and Lizzie Cathern Phillips Brickey. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, William Verner Brickey and John Wayne Brickey. Fern was a member of Watson Enterprise Baptist Church where she attended faithfully for 58 years until her illness. Fern was a devoted Christian, prayer warrior and always ready to share her love and faith in Jesus. Her desire was to see others come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved times with her family. Fern is survived by her husband of 61 years, Wayne Fraley; two daughters, Vicki Lynn (Stephen) Howard of West Liberty and Deborah Jo (Darrell) O'Hara of Isonville; five grandchildren, Melissa Dawn (Jeremiah) Butts of Georgetown, Douglas Wayne (Erica) Howard of West Liberty, Matthew Darrell (Amanda) O'Hara of Crockett, Nathan Glen (Heather) O’Hara of Isonville and Sarah Elizabeth Howard of West Liberty ; seven great grandchildren, Lilly Mae O'Hara, Noah Glen O'Hara, Haley Jo O'Hara, Elizabeth Fern O'Hara, Elijah Darrell O'Hara, Isabella Grace O'Hara and Judah Allen Butts; two sister-in-laws, Maxine Sparks Brickey of Ashland and Martha Brickey of Franklinton, Louisiana and a host of friends and church family. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Watson Church on Middle Fork with Brother Larry Dale Ison officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralph Fraley Cemetery on Middle Fork. Friends may visit after 6 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, Kentucky and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at Watson Church on Middle Fork. Douglas Howard, Matthew O'Hara, Nathan O'Hara and Jeremiah Butts will serve as pallbearers. Stephen Howard and Darrell O'Hara will serve as honorary pallbearers.
