Francis Phillips Litton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Frances Phillips Litton age 83 of Sandy Hook, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord, Monday February 13, 2012 at her daughters residence. She was born July 4, 1928 in Carter County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Sterling and Nancy Adkins Phillips. Frances gave her heart to the Lord at the age of 18 and attended church regularly, rearing the children in Sunday School and Church, which really paid off because now their all serving the Lord and Scott is preaching God's word along with Kathy's husband Eddie. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Community Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one infant brother, Addie Earl Phillips. Married to Beryl Litton of Sandy Hook, Kentucky January 13, 1951 and to this union of twenty-nine years was born three children, Kathy Joan, Sterling Scott and Marsha Ann. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Jana Litton of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; two daughters and son-in-laws, Kathy and Eddie Keeton of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, Marsha and Lovell Mayse of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; three sisters, Kathryn Fannin, Hazel Adkins, Madge Wagoner all of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two neices; three nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2012 in the Chapel of Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook with Brother John Horton and Brother Bill Salyers officiating. Burial will follow in the Elliott County Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. James Oney, Robby Howard, Bobby Howard, Phillip Wagoner, Mark Wagoner and John Litton will serve as pallbearers. All her many friends will serve as honorary pallbearers. www.waddellandwhitt.com
