Eric Brian Thornberry age 37 of Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 04, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Thornberry was born July 28, 1981 in Rowan Co, Kentucky a son of the late Ronnie Thornberry and Reatha Barker Thornberry Adkins and Mark of Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Eric was a Christian, and worked as a telecommunications technician. He loved spending time with his family and his many friends. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; John and Lena Thornberry, Maternal grandfather; Tennyson Barker. Survivors include his children whom he adored; Liam Thornberry and Heaven Jade Thornberry both of Sandy Hook, Kentucky. One brother; Tennyson Thornberry of Barbourville, West Virginia, One sister; Deana Mabry of Olive Hill, Kentucky, one half-sister; Roni Tackett Doyle of Lake City, Florida, Maternal grandmother; Betty Barker of Sandy Hook, Kentucky along with a host of extended family and friends who will sadly mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 09, 2018 at Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dan Frederick officiating. Burial will follow in the Barker Family Cemetery on Pruett's Fork. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour Thursday at the funeral home.
