Dora ‘Faye’ White Fields, 90, of Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away on October 15, 2019 at Grayson, Kentucky. She was born on July 24, 1929 in Culver, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Francis Marion and Flora Belle Green White. The family farm on Green Branch was home to her and nine siblings. Faye married the late Derrel Fields on ¬¬¬¬December 23, 1950 and later became an Army wife while he served in Germany. They bought a farm in Stephens, Kentucky where they raised four sons. She was often spotted on her little red tractor working on the farm. Faye enjoyed gardening, reading, crocheting, and bird watching. A favorite past time was viewing her world from the front porch swing. With a personality that would light up the room, her quick wit and mischievous laughter will be remembered by all who knew her. As a person of strong faith, Wednesday afternoon bible study and Sunday morning meetings were highlights of her week. One of her favorite events was Convention in the summer with her church family.
