Curtis Ray Lewis

Curtis Ray Lewis, age 73, of Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Mr. Lewis was born November 16, 1948 in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of the late Rulie and Elvia Moore Lewis. In addition to his parents he is proceeded in death by brothers; Billy Wayne Lewis and Keith Anthony Lewis, sisters; Bonnie Lou Prewitt and Joyce Ann Harmon. Surviving are his brothers; Sherman (Cindy) Lewis of Versaillies, Ohio, James (Brenda) Lewis and Mark (Kim) Lewis both of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, sisters; Betty Sue Lewis, Janet (Eugene) Randolph and Ruth (Bill) Randolph all of Stark Ridge, Kentucky, several nieces and nephews who will sadly mourn his passing. Curt was a U.S. Army Veteran , having served in the Vietnam War. A member of Hepburn Lodge 576 for 20 years. Robo's Country Store was his home away from home where he would hang out and talk to many friends. He also enjoyed calling people on the phone all day long, everyday. Curt would call Eugene every morning and say "wake up call", then would just start cackling. Curt then called him 3-4 more times a day even if he didn't have anything to say, most of the time just listened to each others breathe. Eugene was a special friend. Masonic Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 28,2021 at Whitt & Sons Chapel. Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021at Whitt & Sons Chapel with Bro. Elijah Wagoner and Bro. Johnny Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup County, Kentucky. Friends may visit Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at Whitt & Sons Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers; David Randolph, Mark Lewis, James Lewis, Joseph Randolph, John Randolph, Hunter Randolph, Jamie Prewitt. Serving as honorary pallbearers; Sherman Lewis, Eugene Randolph, Mosie Prewit, Bill Randolph, All his nieces, nephews, and friends he met along the way.
