Brenda Mabry Wright

July 21, 1961 - June 20, 2009

Brenda “Mabry” Wright, age 47, of Indian Creek Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Saturday morning, June 20, 2009, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Mrs. Wright was born July 21, 1961, in Orange County, Florida, a daughter of the late James Everett Sr. and Margie Starkey Wright. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by a half sister. Mousie Barker; one brother in-law, Ralph Boggs; paternal grandparents, Roy and Hazel Blevins Wright; maternal grandparents, Leroy Alvin and Edna Katherine Starkey. Brenda was self employed and a homemaker. She was a member of the Turning Point Worship Center in Barto, Florida. She loved traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by one son, Justin Mabry of Olive Hill, Kentucky; one daughter, Angela Mabry of Bowling Green, Kentucky; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James Everett Jr. and Charolette Wright of Virgie, Kentucky, Roy Douglas and Leslie Wright of Hillsboro, Kentucky; two sisters and brother-in-law, Katherine Boggs of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Annie and Doug McDonald of Lincoln, Montana, Judy Sultze of Panama City, Florida; eleven nephews, six nieces and five great nephews. Along with a host of extended family members, neighbors and friends who will sadly mourn his passing. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2009, in the chapel of the Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, with Brother Morales Polo and Brother James Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Elliott County Memory Gardens. Friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Monday and until the service hour Tuesday, at the Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
