Anita Black Dickerson

Anita Black Dickerson age 53 of Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at her residence. She was born February 13, 1965 in Morgan County, Kentucky a daughter of Betty June Smith Black and the late Orear Black. Anita was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed photography, gardening, and spending time with her family, friends, and grandchildren. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by one brother: Brian Scott Black. She is survived by two sons: Christopher Dickerson and Skylar Dickerson both of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, one daughter: Jessica Harper of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, two brothers: Roger Dale (Janice) Black of Florida, Paul David Black of Greenville, South Carolina, two sisters: Sandy Nanny and Denise Black both of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, five grandchildren: Ryker Blaise Hamilton, Roslyn Dickerson, Kenadie Harper, Allie Harper, Saylor Harper all of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, along with a host of family and friends that will sadly mourn her passing. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 in the Waddell & Whitt Funeral Chapel with Brother Charlie Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Elliott County Memory Gardens. Friends may visit after 5:00 p.m. Sunday, and after 9:00 a.m. on Monday until the service hour at the funeral home. Roger Dale Black, Paul Black, Mark Walters, Danny Ray Fannin, Jamie Ruth, Michael Keeton will be serving as pallbearers. Family and her many friends will be serving as honorary pallbearers.
