Courtney Seth Pennington

Courtney Seth Pennington age 32 of Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 in Montgomery County from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born January 25, 1983 son of Percy and Judy Clevinger Pennington of Sandy Hook, Kentucky. Courtney was the Co-Owner of the Frosty Freeze and a former employee at Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home, he was of Christian Faith. He loved UK Basketball and the Cincinnati Bengals, fishing, going to concerts and spending time with his friends and family, he loved to laugh and tell stories and he enjoyed listening to songs of the late Keith Whitley. But most of all he loved spending time with his precious babies, Allie and Aiden. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, J.C. and Madelyn Clevinger; paternal grandparents, Vaughn and Edna Pennington; one niece, Tana Pennington; one aunt, LaVina Davis, four uncles; Curt Davis, Wendall Pennington, Wayne Vernon Pennington, and Buel-Dean Pennington. In addition to his parents he is survived by one son, Aiden Seth Pennington; one daughter, Allie Jo Pennington; two step-son's, Cameron and Ethan Wilder all of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; one brother, Paul Pennington of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; three sisters and brother-in-laws, Pamela and Michael Clevenger of Morehead, Kentucky, Priscilla Pennington of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, Tamera and Steve Rehnborg of Winchester, Kentucky; one nephew, Nathan Lewis; eight nieces, Sarah Beth Kelly, Heavan Clevenger, River Clevenger, Lisa Howard, Anna Vaughan, Katherine Rector, Olivia McCarty, Abby Vaughan; three great nephews, Elijah Rector, Judah Vaughan, Atlas Rector; two great niece's, Serenity Jade Lewis and Sadie Anacole Howard; two aunts, Shelba Thornberry of Lexington, Kentucky, Lana Hunt of Maysville, Kentucky; one uncle, Lowell Pennington of Lexington, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in the Chapel of Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, Kentucky with Teaching Minister Christian Epperson, Tamera Rehnborg, Steven Whitt and Abby Vaughan officiating. Friends may visit after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Christian Eppersone, Steven Whitt, Michael Clevenger, Steve Rehnborg, Paul Pennington, Danny Ray Bowling will serve as pallbearers. David Boggs, Dale Adkins, Sammy Adkins, Kevin Winkleman, Michael Curtis, Jesse Keith Whitley and Michael Thornberry will serve as honorary pallbearers.
